They contacted a young person via email and requested the details off his Google account. The youth went to a support portal the appeared to be hosted by Google when he clicked on the link in the email, but this too was a con.
Cybercriminals ware attempting to obtain the youths Google account user name and password by doing this. This matter has come to the notice of Google and now further action is being taken.
